About Thronateeska Heritage Center
Thronateeska Heritage Center is built around a former railroad depot complex constructed in Albany, Georgia in the early twentieth century for the Central of Georgia Railway. The depot buildings served the city's passenger and freight rail traffic for decades before rail use declined. They were later converted to hold local history, science, and planetarium exhibits.
