About The Hutchinson-Korth Home
The Hutchinson-Korth Home was built in the nineteenth century as a farmhouse in Washington County, Texas, an area settled by early Anglo American and German immigrant farmers. It took its name from the Hutchinson and Korth families who successively owned and occupied the house. The home represents the vernacular rural architecture common to Washington County during the nineteenth century.
