The temple's original Roman foundations and lower walls have been reconstructed at their excavated depth on the site, following relocation during earlier redevelopment, and are displayed together with recovered artifacts in a dedicated underground gallery. The display, known as the London Mithraeum, is maintained by Bloomberg. Admission is free, with entry by timed ticket.

About Temple of Mithras (London Mithraeum), London

Roman Londoners built this temple to Mithras in the mid third century CE beside the Walbrook stream, serving a mystery cult popular among soldiers and merchants. Worshippers underwent secret initiation rites in its dim, columned interior meant to evoke a cave. The temple was abandoned or repurposed by the fourth century as Christianity gained ground.
