HISTORIC PRESERVATION at Old Burial Hill Cemetery.
The historic Marblehead burying ground survives on a prominent hill with colonial-era gravestones, tombs, monuments, stone walls, paths, and harbor views. Weathering has damaged many inscriptions, but the maintained municipal cemetery remains publicly accessible as a preserved burial landscape under local rules.
