Open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, and Saturday 9am to noon.
There is usually a restroom on site, though there is no dedicated visitor car park. Sunday visits are by appointment only. Admission is charged.

About Museum of Nevis History
Nevis was the Caribbean birthplace of Alexander Hamilton, who became Washington’s aide-de-camp, an artillery officer, and commander of the assault on Redoubt 10 at Yorktown. The museum provides biographical context for a founder whose Revolutionary career began after leaving the island.
The stone house traditionally identified as Hamilton’s birthplace remains on its Charlestown site and houses a museum. The building has been restored after earthquake damage.
