About Holly Oaks

Holly Oaks was the home of Dr. Robert Emmett Bledsoe Baylor, who lived there for many years until his death in 1873. Baylor was a judge and Baptist minister who helped found the university that later bore his name. The property stood as the residence of one of early Texas's most influential legal and religious figures.
