HISTORIC PRESERVATION at Heritage Collection Museum.

The museum houses a privately assembled collection of artifacts, photographs, and documents relating to Anguilla's history and culture, displayed within a purpose built building rather than a historic structure itself. It is privately owned and operated rather than managed by a government heritage body. The museum is open to the public on a ticketed basis for scheduled visits.

About Heritage Collection Museum

The Heritage Collection Museum was founded in the twentieth century to gather artifacts documenting Anguilla's history and culture. It assembled items relating to the island's Amerindian, colonial, and maritime past, gathered largely by a local historian. The collection gave Anguillians a record of their island's development over time.
