About Chappell Hill Masonic Cemetery
Opened in 1853 as a Masonic burial ground for the community of Chappell Hill, Texas, it received the town's founder, Jacob Haller, as its first interment. Nineteenth-century pioneers, soldiers, and statesmen were buried there. Hubert Lodge No. 67 maintained the grounds until a cemetery association formed in 1965.
