About Cegielski Cemetery
Cegielski Cemetery served as a burial ground for a Polish immigrant family and its neighbors who settled in the Chappell Hill area of Washington County during the nineteenth century. It holds the graves of early settlers connected to the local farming community. The cemetery reflects the ethnic diversity of small rural communities across Texas.
