About Casimir Drugstore
Jean Pierre Casimir, a native of Toulouse, France, built this structure sometime after 1869. His family operated a drugstore there until 1949. A rear patio connected the drugstore to the Palace Opera House, which the Casimir family also owned and operated in Calvert, Texas.

Sometime after 1869, Jean Pierre Casimir (d. 1929), native of Toulouse, France, built this structure. His family operated drugstore here until 1949.
