About Casa de los Azulejos
The Casa de los Azulejos was built as a palace for the Counts of the Valle de Orizaba, with its facade covered in blue and white Talavera tiles added in the eighteenth century. The mansion later served as the clubhouse of Mexico City's Jockey Club. Its tiled facade became a recognizable example of colonial Mexican architecture.
