About Carr Cemetery
Carr Cemetery was established in 1861 to serve as a burial ground for the local rural community. Its graves and family plots reflect the small farming population that settled the surrounding countryside in the nineteenth century. The cemetery continued in use as a family and community burial ground across succeeding generations.
