About Artillery Park Heritage Site
Artillery Park occupied a corner of Québec City's fortified walls, serving French and then British forces as a military garrison and arsenal from the eighteenth century onward. Its buildings included barracks and, later, the Dominion Arsenal, which manufactured Ross rifles during the First World War. The site reflected more than two centuries of military use.
