About Anthony Drew Kennard

This site marks the grave of Anthony Drew Kennard, a Tennessee-born settler who served in the Army of Texas during the Texas Revolution of 1835 and died in 1848. His wife, Sallie Moore Kennard, also born in Tennessee, died in 1877. The site honors early Texian settlers who took part in the struggle for Texas independence.
