The surviving eighteenth-century Weymouth house operates as a nonprofit historic museum interpreting Abigail Adams’s childhood. Restoration preserves period rooms, furnishings, architectural fabric, collections, gardens, and grounds, although sections of the building reflect later alteration and rebuilding following an earlier fire.
