His brother was James Findlay Harrison. The Franklin County biographical annals identify him as William Henry Harrison III and record his death in 1849.
No reliable evidence of an occupation, military appointment, or professional career was found for this William Henry Harrison in the reviewed material. The 1928 History of Linn County records his birth in 1828 and death in Mexico in April 1849, but the military career described afterward belongs to his brother James Findlay Harrison. It cannot be assigned to William.
