Milutin Tesla was Nikola Tesla’s father and a Serbian Orthodox priest in Smiljan.
EARLY LIFE
He served a Serbian Orthodox parish and encouraged study, while hoping Nikola would enter the priesthood.
CAREER
DEATH
Milutin Tesla died in Gospić on April 17, 1879. He was buried with his wife Đuka in the Orthodox cemetery at Jasikovac, where their son Nikola later erected a memorial to both parents.
