Henry Temple was the second Viscount Palmerston and father of Henry John Temple, the future British prime minister. Mary Mee was his second wife and Henry John’s mother.

DEATH
Henry Temple, second Viscount Palmerston, became seriously ill in April 1802 and died of what a later biographer called an ossified throat at his Hanover Square house in London on April 16. He was buried in the family vault beneath Romsey Abbey.
